How do I purchase a painting from this website?
On the Home page and Gallery pages you can see the paintings that are up for sale at this moment. The website is kept up-to-date regularly, but please contact
us right away to ensure the availability of the painting you have decided to purchase. We will then give you instructions regarding the payment of the painting.
Payments are currently made by bank wire, for which we will give you the details. As soon as payment has been received, the payment will be shipped to you.
We are currently also re-constructing this website to provide online credit card payment facilities to
make payment even more convenient. We hope to be able to present this to you soon.
Can I request a painting to be made especially for me?
Absolutely. If you would like the artist to paint a custom-made work especially tailored for you, please contact us letting
us know what kind of painting you want and we will give you the pricing details. Prices depend on the size and complexity of the painting.
You will then be sent a detailed questionnaire with specific questions which will allow the artist to have an accurate concept of exactly what you
want in your painting. These are as specific as what are the colors in the surrounding environment where you will hang the painting, if this is already known.
We may also ask you to send some photos of the environment will hang, to assure that the painting will smoothly harmonize with its surroundings once you have
it on your wall. The purpose of this is to deliver as high a quality of product to you as possible.
How long will it take before my painting will be ready?
Once the painting stage commences, allow approximately 3 weeks for the painting to be produced. The painting may be ready earlier than that depending on
size and complexity, but this is a general estimate, allowing for the paint to dry between layers and allowing for a high quality to be achieved.
Will I have any influence on the end result during the painting process?
Yes. During the painting process, you will be sent pictures of the painting you can see it progress and voice any further wishes you may have.
The painting will not be shipped to you until you are happy with the final stage.
Do I have to pay for the painting if I don't like the end result?
No. Painting commissions carry a no-good-money-back guarantee, meaning that should you, at whatever stage of the painting process, not be happy with
the result and wish to discontinue the commission, your payment will be returned to you in full and the painting will be sold to third parties on this website
or through galleries or other vending points. Therefore, in giving a commission for a painting, you have nothing to lose.
How do I pay for the painting?
Payments can currently only be made by bank wire. Please contact us for wire details. We are currently re-constructing the website to
facilitate online credit card payment and we hope to be able to present this to you soon.
Do I pay for the shipping costs of the painting?
No. Shipping is on us.
If I buy an existing painting from your website, how long will it take for my painting to arrive?
Depending on where you live, it will averagely take several days to a week.
Do the paintings come with frames?
Frames are generally not provided with the paintings - if this is truly desired we can have the painting framed for you and shipped to you including frame.
(A surcharge will apply depending on the size and type of frame you desire.) However, we recommend that you have your painting framed locally as you will
be able to better judge the harmony of colors between the frame, the painting and the environment where the painting will be placed according to your liking.
